The Bamboo Garden Restaurant has been serving this community for generations. The original owners Frankie, Ming and Dick operated it successfully since the 1950s. Current owners since 2002, May and Albert are continuing the tradition of offering the best value and service in Chinese and Canadian food. Besides having given the building a major renovation and upgrading, they have also licensed the premises for liquor and VLT gaming for their patrons’ enjoyment.
The Bamboo offers exciting Chinese cuisine that is sure to please. We make our sweet and sour sauce the traditional way, with no food colouring or ketchup. Our sauce’s natural colour comes from Chinese cane sugar, and a blend of malt and sherry wine vinegar. We use exclusive high-grade non-hydrogenated canola oil that is low in saturated fat, low in cholesterol and has zero trans-fat. We bread our chicken breast pieces with our special blended mixture of unbleached bread crumbs, crushed crackers and spices.
The Bamboo offers daily buffets. Join us for our Daily Specials, or dine in the comfort of your home by ordering from our Take out Menu.

The business opened its doors in February 1992 under the name of Yellowhead Equipment, with a staff of 12 led by Brent Cosgrove with partner Ed Mazer of Countryside Equipment in Brandon. Currently the business employs 22 people at the Neepawa location.
On November 1, 2005 the name changed to Countryside Equipment in the joining of forces with Countryside Equipment in Brandon. This was a request of John Deere to deal with larger buying groups. Then on February 1, 2008 a further change came when Countryside Equipment merged with Enns Brothers. The owners of both businesses realized that they needed more critical mass in both geography and staff capability to deliver the level of product availability and service capacity that will be required by customers in the future. In a time when many companies face product allocation and delivery uncertainty, Enns Brothers customers will have a greater chance of getting the products they want, when they want them and the way they want them, because we will be in a better position to get the products we order from John Deere.
As the area John Deere dealership we offer new and used farm equipment sales, parts and service along with lawn and garden sales, parts and service. Offering small town “teamwork” and a friendly atmosphere.
The dealership reached many achievements over the years. Honors include the 1995 John Deere Signature Dealer Award for outstanding achievement in its sales, parts and service departments. One of a very limited number of dealerships in the Canadian Branch being recognized for this award.

Website: www.lilyfestival.com
The Lily Festival first bloomed in 1996 when Eleanor Nicholson and Barrie Strohman presented their idea to the Neepawa town council. The Neepawa & Area Lily Festival Committee was formed and developed a mission statement: To put the town of Neepawa on the map as the World Lily Capital and to organize an annual lily festival during the third week in July, focusing on lilies, music, food and fun. These key elements continue to thrive at Neepawa’s Lily Festival. The first festival was held with a golf tournament, lily flower show, bus tours, breakfast among the lilies, entertainment events and a barbeque with over 6,000 people in attendance.
The committee began promoting the development of lily beds on both public and private properties. In 1998 Neepawa was declared “The World Lily Capital”. As of 2007, the number of named varieties of lilies grown in Neepawa and area has blossomed to over 2,000.
The festival is organized each year by a group of dedicated volunteers who sit on the Lily Festival Committee. The committee is structured into four main departments: Lily Development, Finance, Marketing and Festival Events. Each has a director who works with subcommittees. The festival itself is organized by a group of 20 executive members of the committee with over 300 volunteers helping to make the festival a reality.
The Neepawa & Area Lily Festival is a non-profit organization with proceeds being used for festival events and for the beautification of the town. Five large lily parks have been developed in the town. Each year the Lily Festival partners with the Town of Neepawa to enter the Communities in Bloom competition. In 2003 Neepawa won the National Communities in Bloom award and in 2004 the festival was named “Canada’s National Lily Festival”.
From humble beginnings in 1996, the Neepawa & Area Lily Festival has grown to attract up to 12,000 annually from around the world to visit Neepawa.
